Metal back for your iPhone 4!
I miss the original iPhone, the aluminium back was prettier than the plastic and glass Apple has used in the last 3 revisions. And it was just more robust, the plastic scratched or marked rather easily. And glass, yes it breaks of course, but only if you drop it from quite a height. My iPhone 4’s rear glass, seems to have several tiny scratches on it. I wonder if the rear glass is not the tough gorilla glass the front panel is.
In any case, now you can replace the rear glass entirely with a metal back. Remove two screws and pop off the glass and pop on the metal case, easy.
It looks really pretty too, a return to the all aluminium look!
I do have some concerns though. How much weight does it add to the phone? And, does it have as good a flash defuser as the original back panel, as without that, pictures taken with the flash will not look good.
