Sydney, Nightlife and the Cross
I took some photos Saturday night around Sydney between midnight and 2am. I was in the city after seeing a concert and hung around to take photos, nightclubs aren’t really my thing but I find the vibrancy and atmosphere of the city at night fascinating. Being near halloween, a few costumes were out.
George Street in the centre of the city, busy but tame.

The infamous Kings Cross.
Sleazy and sometimes dangerous, sex shops, restaurants, cafes and strip clubs, brothels run down the main street.
The area is heavily patrolled by cops, they’re there to deal with drugs and violence, but prostitution is fully legal in this city.
I was shocked at the amount of people walking by this passed out girl as if nothing had happened, possibly an OD? Fortunately she didn’t take long to wake up.
Nice car.
Aboriginal buskers are not an uncommon sight in Sydney, they amuse tourists.
He did a burnout, the cops weren’t amused and wrote him a ticket
Yeah Compton… this car was pumping out loud rap music.
Actually the food on the cross isn’t bad at all.
World famous? I ain’t ever heard of it, anyway spruikers don’t seem to like cameras.
